Who am I? WHO AM I? Well, I'm just your everyday walking talking long neck!
Astor came about in 1996 as a direct result of the TV show DINOSAUCERS. The character Bronto- Thunder, an anthro apatosaur, was the inspiration that led to creating Astor. The show is pretty horrible by most measures but it had its guilty-pleasure moments, like the odd transformation or growth scene, and of course the size difference between the saurians and the human characters.
The name "Astor" was practically randomly chosen.  Faced with needing to choose a name while creating a character on FurryMUCK I simply scanned around just looking for some name or another (who cares what it is, right?) and just pulled the name off a music CD on my desk...Astor Piazzolla was the CD. Funny how things stick.
